When you manage an engine swap that requires more than cutting off one connector, and soldering on another with the same color wires, maybe i'll bother

Hopefully that coincides with you driving, and not just talking about it on the internets!

The master did not solve the problem and the clutch is slipping. So I called Spec and they said it is still under warranty. I just have to send the old one in to get a new one.

Anyone willing to help this weekend? Ive never done a clutch swap so any help will be greatly appreciated. I will buy lunch or pay, whatever just need to get my car on the road.

If I can get down there, I'm down to help. Clutch swaps are cake.

they are cake... hardest part is stabbing the tranny back in, and that's pretty simple... it can just be a bitch sometimes...

two clutches in one day.... took about 6 hours both cars... with beer breaks and shit...

absolutely no disk surface... damn kid grenaded it... just above and to the left os a piece of the disk...

Did one by myself with hand tools and 2 floor jacks in a couple hours. Not something I want to do again, but there are certainly bigger pains in the ass to be had.

I personally hate having to change out clutches while laying on my backside on the ground. It totally sucks. I have a transmission jack have previously beat the crap out of the tunnel and its still a bitch but then again the transmission weighs 2/3s what I do.

I can do it alone in a few hours but its one of the last things I'd want to do.
