Just put some speakers in my friends accord and he payed me $80, then I went to Advanced Auto parts and spent $70 of it. I bought a slave cylinder w lifetime warantee for $14.99, Premium brake pads w/ lifetime warantee for $20.01, 19ft of fuel line (Don't know why I bought so much LOL) at $1.25/ft and payed $23.75, and a bottle of Dot 3 brake fluid for $6.49. It all came up to $69.48. Not bad at all

 

125A Quest alternator into Jorges car, bracket V1 was a fail, bracket V2 was successful, tomorrow bracket V3 to reuse the stock tensioner, had to manually tension on V2 making sure things lined up.

We had 13.7V @ idle, with headlights, a/c, and dual fans all running.

 

looks like the GTR is pretty much sold....

time to start car shopping...

anyone have any inside line on early model 350Z's?

 

In the bay area, I'm seeing them on almost every used car lot. 03's is decent shape are going for $10k. I feel like you could pick up a thoroughly used one for $8k. The nice, garaged, low-mile, mid-model(04-06) ones are still getting mid-low teens.

 

Anyone have any connects to someone that can tow a pretty low car for cheap?

thanks! i think i'm gonna come down to the tampa area to check out a few dealerships... i've hit every dealership in gainesville and ocala, and found NOTHING but two automatic cars, one was a black on black vert, so sexy, till you look in side and see the auto shifter...

i love the white on white, but at the same time, that silver/black vert is sexy, and i know i'd love a S13 vert, so i'm pretty sure i'd like a 350 vert...

Ep, if it is as you say down there, i'll def make the trip... i'm not looking to get a "well used" one for $8, i'm looking for a 03-04 with under 100K, with either the enthusiast or touring package, that way i get my leather power and heated seats, and all the other nifty shit the base doesn't come with...

i'm expecting to spend between $9k and $11K for a fairly clean example. so if you see any along those lines, feel free to link me.

 

also, if any 350 owners who lurk this section of the forum have any info on what to look for with these cars, it'd be much appreciated, i know the 03-04's had oil consumption problems, and the verts and even hard tops are prone to leaking, but if there's anything i need to know, i'd like to be as informed as possible before i pick one out and buy it.
