i had my winshield replaced with the $20 aftermarket moulding, and it looks great imo

 

I have an aftermarket one on my car. I dont really have any issues with it in the last year its been on the car. It just doesnt have that fancy lip that stops water from blowing onto the side windows when its raining. But thats never really been an issue.

 

i think the aftermarket molding looks better personally. but to each their own.

 

I had mine done last year when a boulder from the back of some hick in a pickup truck smashed my windshield. I have allstate. I just contacted safelite and made it known that I wanted oem window trim. A dude showed up at my apartment complex and swapped it out for me. Contact safelite, they will contact your insurance company for you.

I think I will just drop it off to get the guy at Tim's work to do it, since I need an alignment done anyways, might as well do it all at once

 

throw the quarter windows in too, and get it all done.

I drove around the USF area today and realized that it is impossible to count to sixty without seeing some generation of Honda Civic. (Either on the road or parked somewhere) Those of you that don't live in rural areas should try this sometime. I'm pretty sure it applies to nearly all of the greater Tampa area.

 

i have no idea. they were there yesterday replacing a previa window for me. ill call and see, when do you want to do this? tomorrow? friday? july?
