Datsun Dreaming
I do. And yeah, we can do that one weekend. Not this weekend, but maybe the next one.

So the people that hit my car and are at fault. (Legally parked in the street they backed up into me and left, I watched it happen, they got cited with improper backing)
Seem to be ignoring their ins. Company, they keep telling me that they cannot contact their insured/havent heard back etc. They are blatantly at fault, what can I do in this situation?
Can anyone help out? I'm almost to the point of going to their house, but i'm sure nothing good will come out of that.

Did you contact your insurance company? Have your insurance company contact their insurance company. Do you have copies of the ticket and their proof of insurance? Are you even sure they have insurance?

I contacted my ins. company yes.
My ins. company contacted theirs.
They do have ins. their ins. company has called and spoke with me.
They work for allstate as well.
I have a police report, and exchange of drivers info, as well as the police officer is one of my friends longtime family friend.
Ive never had to deal with anything like this though, Im stuck as to what to do. I want my damn car fixed already, old hags tried to deny they hit it and bitched to the police officer etc. Even with visible damage on their car and mine and 3 witnesses. I also have pics of everything from that night.
Small claims is looking like it might be the best option at the moment even though that is a long process im sure.

Call their insurance company and demand answers. Call your insurance company and ask them what's going on and demand that someone figure it out.
You've gotta bug the shit out of insurance companies to get ANYTHING. Otherwise it's really easy for them to just ignore you.

My exgirlfriend got hit by a car in her condo parking lot, got a police report and everything, completely the other person's fault. She (and I) fought the insurance company for months because the guy claimed he didn't hit her car, even with photos and a police report. She ended up giving up because she fought it for months and made ZERO progress. Just wasn't worth fighting over.
Car insurance is the biggest scam EVER, quickly followed by home insurance. And now health insurance is mandatory. AMERICA FUCK YEAH! The insurance companies sure are quick to grab your monthly payments, but getting any money back is like trying to squeeze water from a stone.
Good luck man. Wish I could say I think you're going to get an easy win because it truly wasn't your fault, but get ready for a long frustrating battle.
