Is this the only time of year you can drive Deal's Gap? Why don't you guys do it when the weather is cooler?

i can see that, less power drain on the charging system = stronger/consistant ignition, nothing worth writing home about, but i noticed a difference after putting one in my GTR, it wasn't like WTFHOLYSHIT, but it was like "man, this feels a bit smoother and a tad more responsive.".

Yeah, he was believing a bit more on the heyyy this is definetly faster, not just a bit better on the response, it did seem to punish the tires a bit more when he hit 2nd, in his defense

At any rate, should be standard with any SR install, IMO, too cheap to not do it.

Because the weather is still nice up there. Even in July when we went last time isn't that hot.

Hell its worse than that, I could probably setup a half dozen people with alternator and bracket, for $80 or so ea.

Used alts, but hey from 01-03 motors, not 91-93 motors

Reman'd quest alt's are $180

There are quite a few used ones available around here for $40-50

$30 for bracket, done.

They are also used on the mercury *coughfordcough* villager, for those searching the U-pulls
