good info to have, should add to sticky at the top of this page. a great cheap upgrade for any S/R/Z chassis with the right fab skills, hell, my bracket is just the OEM one, with the added cut off length from another bracket... so simple, and worthwhile.

I wish the SR bracket was that easy, but I do plan on harassing drew on upgrading his on that RHD RB25 car soon, but yeah, something everyone should do, EVERYTHING just works better when you've got enough power to go around.
marshall spend a day or two driving a 350 vert before you set your heart on it. they loose A TON of interior room to the vert factor. leg room and head room is limited, and you can only recline the seat so far depending on your seat possition. plus the vert ruins the lines of the car, and looks doofy.

i actually like the lines of a vert... then again, the roofline of a hard top also makes the Z.
Proper alignment and de-fumed my car today so I don't pass out on the way to GA.

How I made my sr alt bracket work with a quest alt.
I have to adjust tension with a crowbar then tighten the bolt at the same time.
Took me a coupple hours to fit it correctly but it works fine.

i have worked on a couple verts and driven them. I dont like them at all. But I am also a big coupe person and not a big vert person. Even though you are only an inch or two taller than a leprechaun, i still suggest doing an extended test drive in one before locking in on one. and also do the same with the coupe to get a fair comparison. remember verts are heavier, and have a less rigid chassis than coupes and I know you value the way a car feels while driving it.
tis true man, good point, when the car's sold, i'll prob be in a week or two of actual car limbo, as i don't want to jump blindly/headfirst into something... i'll see about getting both models out and about before i make a final decision.
