Clock light works again, one of the little things about my car that pissed me off to no end.

Slapped the tag from one of my other ones and made the first long(16 miles round trip) test drive since putting good swap in and battle version toe rods. Ran and drove great besides slight vibration during braking, prolly rotors needing cut. Soon to be for sale

Drove to get tire put on fronts for this, $5 corner tire changes/balancing on baller machine is where its at!

Was your bulb out? Mine doesn't work either.

 

Yeah, it was the bulb. It's a pain in the ass to pull the entire cluster for one stupid bulb. Apparently it only works with the key turned to on, the lights turned on and the dimmer switch plugged in as well. So when you change yours don't get mad when you test it and it doesn't light up when you turn the lights on. If your clock actually works and reads time correctly then it's just the bulb that needs replacing. The actual clock itself is part of the tachometer dial and can be removed if the digital unit is bad.

 

No, the clock works fine but ever since I put in the tach I guess the bulb on the new one was bad. Got any extras?

on another note, which some of you may enjoy, this will be my last public "event" with my car before hitting the track... saving my "show/weed/party/race" money for car improvements...

within a month, the GTR will be prepped, and sideways at either CFRC or Desoto as my next full time drift car.
