Another KA Overheating

that doesn't beat this

This is what my heat gauge did on the way back from Dday 5... went up SUPEr quick.. had to take a pic. I knew camera phones had a use for something.

Damn. Well the car drove just fine on saturday, but saturday night, i was driving, and i was randomly flooring it. During the accleration, i just so happened to take a glance at my temp. gauge. It was close to the H again! I then let go the pedal, and then the needle dropped down to 1/4. That was really odd. Throughout the night, the needle never went up pass 1/2. Ill just switch out the Thermostat and see if its the problem.

I think my dad found the problem. Air pockets in the cooling line is what probably caused the overheating. So advice to everyone out there, if u change your coolent, make sure that theres no air pockets and keep the coolent line filled.
