-Keep your current Camaro as is, just maintain it right.
-Save money for year
-Buy 98 or newer Camaro with LS-1
-Sell your old Camaro

that will be the most cost effective way to get what you're looking for
better handling, better braking, 6spd trans, reliabilty, better gas mileage
and so on

+1 on Niburu's idea. You can get a 98 or newer camaro for under 10 grand all day. I actually think Corey R is selling his for 5k or something

I don't think so at all actually. the body style changed in 98 to the most current one. The years you are talking about are 93-97. here is a budy of mine's 97 z28. I love it Myspace.com Blogs - The New Look! - Jonathan MySpace Blog

I said 98 or newer
I guess there is no accounting for taste, or lack there of
anyway your only other choice would be to find a wrecked one (wait for a nice rainy day) and then transplant all the parts that will swap over

the motor in the vette and the camaro are the same....both ls-1's unless you find a ls-6 which came in the z06 vette. Still an ls-1 can be made better with minimal money.
