Ok So I apologize if perhaps i was misunderstood
I think we all know this kid really is going to be doing anything to his car, exept autozone muffler and tons of stickers, but its always worth a try to get someone to learn a little something....
actually i have flowmaster i am swapping from my parts car... would do an engine swap but the parts car was a v6, but hey i cant bitch with 4 pioneer speakers, flowmasters, and complete interior for 600 bucks...
i am not doing the engine swap until my 68 it running to the point where it is reliable, valve gasket issues and some other things, then i can dump the parts car and work on 305 camaro. i will let you all know what i do. i figure that if i rebuild a 350 i can get upwards of 350-400hp. i'll go with the l98 350 cause i have been told that the ls1 lost low end torque and perfomance by the thirdgen guys, plus the have the complete guides to all swaps.
Can't believe you guys are taking this kid seriously. How many times have we heard the story, "I have some early '90s hooptie that I bought with help from my parents for $1500. I just got my weekly $75 allowance and am planning on having $30,000 within a couple more weeks to spend on mods. Any advice on how to polish my turd?"

I just looked at your link. That is the standard 275 hp vette L98. It is NOT a Zr1 motor.
You really should read your articles more closely before you post them. It literally only took me 5 seconds to see that you are wrong.

In no way shape or form does the l98 have anything close to the ls-1. come on kid. every1 swaps ls-1's into there 240sx's, rx-7's, and even civics(lol) for a reason. Have you ever seen some1 swap an l98 into anything? no, and for good reason. The ls1 will make more power up high, down low, and every where in between. I don't think the l98 would be a bad choice because it's probably cheaper, but don't ever think it's even close to as good or better than the ls-1.
