Top Gear US
I like how they edited Adam test driving the Mercedes, showing it drift Jeremy Clarkson like, then cut to him inside.
I enjoyed watching the F-150 doing what it did.

yea the editing was very obvious.. actually was that UK footage re-purposed? the paintball challenge could have not been less thought out.. the raptor segment was good.. they just tried to jam too much into one epposode
I forgot the paintball challenge. That was lame.

I watched the latest episode last night... right after I watched an episode of UK Top Gear, the one where they drove 4WD vehicles through the rain forest in South America. I'd have to really sit and watch both again, but I think a big part of the difference between the shows is in the editing. I don't know if it's producers, editors or what, but the Brit team just seems to be a lot better at telling a story and keeping it interesting.

yeah the editing definitely isnt as good. even the way they go to commercial seems awkward.
I liked this last episode. I thought they could have saved the army vehicle thing for an episode which needed a longer segment. Would have liked to see a few more challenges with them instead of just the paintball thing.
btw also just watched one of the newer supercars exposed. tanner definitely looks so much more comfortable on camera now than when he first started.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
