I don't want to kill the fantasy, but the "challenges" are done once on open roads, and filmed. then they go back and film "glamor shots" later. so the Major power slides etc that was done outside of the competition, in a controlled environment. but TGUK does the same thing. sometimes over multiple days.

do they give the impression of driving crazy on the street, sure. but it's ENTERTAINMENT. If you think a young driver is going to drive more crazy after watching an entertainment program you obviously don't understand the young brain. (see a teen does not need help driving like an ass)

I was able to wreck my first couple cars and didn't have Top gear show me how to be stupid.. that comes naturally. come on Loren, you wanted to be cool like Jim Rockford when you were a kid

Blaming Society for poor parenting is all the rage now I know, but lets not try to fall into that trap.

The Ski challenge is unique as much of the locations had to be done on a closed set.

I like Chi, but I think we need to have an "intervention" lock her away from anything Honda related for 28 days see if we can detox her. Then slowly introduce "healthy" alternatives like, BMW's Porsches, Lotii, a few classic cars. even the odd ball domestic..

It's not to late to save her.

I liked the moon shine challenge. But where the hell did the car test and power lap go? Lame

I really hope they do some more old style top gear and review normal cars in fun ways and not just about super cars and challenges every show.

Just watched it. I'd say it's getting better. I wanted to see them test drive something that cost more than $1k though. They seem to be building some respect for one another and learning how to interact.

Watching it right now. Fairly entertaining episode. I'm feeling a bit more promise for the series.
