Downloaded it today from I-tunes, gladly spent $1.99 to own it, played hd right off my I-phone. Since I'm cable-free it's cheaper for me to buy the shows I want. Glad the "haters" are coming around.

 

I can't wait to see Kid Rock in the small car challenge next week... he looked funny as hell in the preview with the helmet and granny glasses on.

 

Tanner Faust is a bit of a dufus, but he isn't too bad. The other two hosts, on the other hand, are awful. The show lacks the quick-wit of its sister-show. History could have a winner here, but the show needs some serious re-tooling.

 

at 8shared_pm I remembered it was coming on at 10shared_pm couldn't even remember it was airing when i was looking for something to watch. when i really like a show i don't forget it is coming on that i do know.

my friend recorded it so i'll have to watch it at their place again.

on a serious note, i think TGUS is already showing improvement. their chemistry is improving and i actually lol'd at this last episode. they got the right idea, it just needs polishing.

 

i cant agree more..Honestly the show was pretty good being it was the first 3 episodes and they have never worked togeather before but like said before it will get better with time and i just look at is like another show to watch instead of the gay shows on spike.it has nice cars and good statistics with some good filming so i will watch it every week.the one thing i dont like is the cast and the lead guy adam i think? i would much rather have tanner as the lead cause the other one is so monotone and has no charcter like when buzz was doing his lap in the first episode, boring as hell and he has no car knowlage and cant drive for shit.the other guy rutlage isnt bad because he provides some humor and kinda gets the car culture alittle better then the adam dude.tanner even tho has other shows and seems people dont like him i still think he does a good job of hosting.hes educated,has good people skills and can drive pretty decent.as far as im concerned the only thing i dont seem to like about the show at this point is the adam guy but other then that the show is pretty good for only being 2 episodes down.

 

The third episode was MUCH better than the previous two without a doubt.

All of the hosts are still horrible though.

Adam at least drives the wheels off the cars, rutledge doesn't, and even tanner doesn't as much as he could anyways.

 

I was happy to see that the word "drift" was not over-used in the third episode (was it used at all?). Unfortunately, it was replaced by NASCAR.

I think less of Tanner showboating is a good thing. Seeing Adam flog that Caddy made me smile. They made him look like a non-driving wuss who had no business on the show in the 2nd episode. Rutledge... not sure I've found much use for him yet.

The show will get better when they really start to loosen up with each other and on camera. I think it's starting to happen already. I watched an episode of TGUK last night. The UK guys really aren't much better with their banter, it just comes off as being more "natural", and with their Brit accents, it all sounds somewhat "charming" to the American ear. It won't be easy for the US guys to match that.

 

I like rutlege wood more than Adam.
