If that's the case, Tanner just ratcheted up more respect from me. Even on Battle of the Supercars he can't seem to keep the car from sliding. If he can turn that "off" and go fast, then that's really cool. He does have some feminine movements...you guys might be right!

Sliding just looks better on television! That's something that ticks me off on the real Top Gear... 2 cars on the track "racing" against each other to see which is faster and they're dead sideways around the corners.

We'll just have to wait to see if our stig gets unveiled. Are there any guesses of when this may happen? I've got $5 on it being between the third and fourth season.

Well, seeing Tanner next to the Stig would be helpful.

and...if Tanner gets cut...they could cut a deal to remain as the Stig.

I'm thinking that we'll see tanner and the stig in the same place at the same time at one point or another.

I have to agree that it cannot be Danica because road circuits are not her thing but who is the other Indy driver Mark W (something) that rules at road courses?

If it is Tanner I don't think that would be a good choice on the producers part. Simply because he could show a bias to a car. The UK Stig just likes to drive the car into the ground.

Hey I guess we could possbily find out if this show ever turns out at a Chumps Car or Lemons race. If we don't see the Stig plus Tanner in the pits ...

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.

I was disappointed that they didn't take the "US" Stig from the UK series when they were stateside. He was well over 6' and north of 250lbs soaking wet outta the trailer.

I understand that the UK Top Gear has many seasons under their belt but I think it goes without saying that if others are going to attempt this show that they should base it off chemistry.

The only scene I saw that made it fun to watch was when they were all 3 car and Tanner had the helmet on and they were just goofing off. That's Top Gear.

I think if they improvise and be themselves this show has a better chance.

I also think the scene with them in the slowzuki was the only scene with true top gear feel to it.
