And eh, I have to do some stuff in there anyways, figured why not its just one of those little things that seem to bother me. Plus there is metal showing in spots somehow probably just age and highway.
Its the bed liner stuff at any auto parts store. Its that textured rubber coating. Its in the same section as spray paint stuff.

Dude! I want a giant VQ37 made from Perspex!

By the way, Perspex is a trade name for a particular, trademarked type of acrylic. (think Kleenex vs tissue).

"sure, we can do anything". Yeah, except you forgot to model and build the VVEL assembly. Corner-cutting wankers.

Find your consult connector under the dash. Cut it out with enough spare wire to reconnect it by the ECU. Be careful with the 12V wire. Cut it separately, and tape off the chassis side.

Now, see all those green wires? Match them to the wires of the same color coming out of the ECU. They're the 3-4 wires that are adjacent to the ECU's center bolt. Now add switched power and ground according to the pic above. Yours might also have a wire adjacent to the 12V (labeled CHK, here). Don't worry about that. Now you're done.

EDIT: We're only doing it this way because I have no idea where on the F4 plug the green wires go. In a perfect world, I'd have that diagram, spare pins, and just splice the 3 wires and insert them into the correct positions.
