Datsun Dreaming
Are S13 and S14 oil pumps/covers different? My entire front cover is leaking oil. I guess it might be an S13 cover? Any way you can tell the difference by looking at it?

^ Hurry up and bring that bish by.
Thats pretty sweet Eric, what lines did you have to get? Hopefully we'll both have them finished this weekend.
Also the Nismo Coppermix pressure plate is super light. It feels pretty much stock so I'm hoping it wont be to terrible driving around with it since its a solid disk but atleast it will be easy to feather the clutch.

uuuuuhhhhh. You don't just reseal the front cover on an SR. You have to pull the head, pickup, upper pan, and valve cover to do it.
Is it blasting oil out of the left side of the cover? Did you put the front cover o-ring on the block before installing it?
What I would do if I were you is to just pull the front cover (and pulley, and pickup, and bolts hiding in the sump and head). Then take a few thousandths off the top and bottom before putting it back on. Maybe 0.010". You will need to liberally RTV the top and bottom after that. The problem is that everything is tight fitting. The oil pump drive collar engages the front cover tightly, there is zero clearance between the head and upper pan, and there are locating pins so you can't cock it around.
By the way, new front covers should have the part number printed on them. 50Fxx for S13, 69Fxx for S14.

It looks like its leaking from everywhere which is why I thought it was weird, but I couldnt get my head under the car to really be sure. If it comes down to it, I'll shave a little bit off the top of the cover so it slips in place.
AFAIR I put the o-ring on.
AFAIR I put the o-ring on.
