Something smaller, lighter and more simplistic.

Well I guess the wheel base/track width will be bigger, but the car itself will weigh in at about 1500-1700lbs.

Its a custom tube frame chassis kit car that I'm working on. I've been tinkering with the chassis design for over 2 years, and just today come up with a design that I actually like. Once I get Solid Works installed on my computer I can convert my sketched ideas to 3D pictars.

That trans sounds like a bitch to source. I think I'll stick with my original plan of B20-Vtec with a jackson racing supercharger. Cheap, reliable, super repsonsive motor with 230-250hp suites my needs perfectly, and I can find lots of spare parts that are easily sourced and cheap.

I wouldn't say 200whp very easily. Tuned ECU, header, intake, the right cams, etc will get you 200whp.

All B13 SE-R trannies are VLSD. So are G20t's. That's the 5sp ones. The baller FWD setup is the JDM P12 bellhousing on a SE-R Vspec HLSD 6sp.

RWD, its mid-engine.

It will be like an ariel atom but The chassis structure is my own design, along with everything else. I'd really like to keep it nissan. If I can build a NA SR for around 4k I might consider it but it still wouldnt really have the power I want. And a turbo set up is out of the question.

More than likely I'll use a honda motor mostly due to aftermarket support and parts sourcing is 10x what an nissan would be. But I'll keep that 6spd SE-R idea in mind.

I finally relocated the power steering reservoir the firewall near the clutch master cylinder... and burnt the shit out of my hand on my turbo.

broke epsteins radiator.
whoops.

dan, all b13, and b14 se-r, and some g20, i want to say the g20 touring.
all of them are kinda expensive though, since a good one is hard to find, they made those things out of glass and paper mache' i think, anything over stock coupled with agressive driving, and they fail horribly.
