I would buy a new wideband. Half the time when you get em used you gotta change the sensor soon after. They only last a couple years. Sensors run about $60-70 depending on the wideband..so even if you get it for $100 its gonna be $170 as soon as you get the sensor...AEM is nice and cheap at 180 but there are better options...just do some reading

Yeah that's what I'm getting. I'm going to wait until next week unless I have another check in the mail come.

As a reminder, I run a web design and software engineering company. If anyone is in need of anything from business cards to e-commerce websites to custom iPhone / Android apps, please let me know. I'd love to use the money to get this "community project" up and running.

I just sold my AEM for $100
The AEM sensor's are $70 new. SO $170 for essentially a new wideband isn't bad IMO

The way i see it, you could possibly lose power by taking them out. Ever used an impact gun? Know when you got a loose grip on it and the gun just vibrates around? Then when you give it a firm grip, the gun stabilizes and can transmit more torque to the bolt...

you gotta say that 6 bolt i built was smooth as can be without the balance shafts hehe.

No, its not bad, but its not good either. You can get em for $10 more brand new. I would just buy a better controller if I were to get a used one, AEM may be the cheapest but they just dont seem as accurate to me, and arent exactly full featured.

My AEM is accurate as hell. It tells me that you did a crappy tune on my car everytime I stomp on it.

Haha

Maybe its just the cars I see them in run like poo poo

and, If your car wasnt in a constant state of flux maybe we could get something done!

...just sayin tho, there are companies dedicated to building a better wideband controller. The AEM was just a me-too...

I've seen these get very expensive. The AEM seems to be the most popular, but that doesn't mean it's best for my application. With the needs I have, would there be a difference between the AEM and another system.

Innovative is suppose to be awesome. But i've never had any issues with my AEM. it's always been spot on. There's always something negative being said about every product on the market...If AEM's are as bad as people say (Will's not the only one i've heard it from), I highly doubt people would continue to use them..
