So I pulled the exhaust manifold off to check things out before putting in the tubular manifold. Let's play spot the problems!

There is an oil galley that passes through where the studs for the manifold are tapped. Pull the studs that are oiley and put some sort of hi-temp sealant on the threads (ideally get new studs) and reassemble.

 

sigh...I'll have to order them next week. At least my injectors came in. I'll drop those in this weekend.

 

So you know its not all of the studs. Its only like 1 or 3 maybe. I think they are the bottom ones towards teh middle but not entirely sure, as my motor used to just spew oil from anywhere it could and some places it couldnt. lol

 

I might as well do them all I guess. At least after this is the dsm link purchase and I'm set.

 

It's one, the center bottom one. Be careful, you will hate life if you strip that hole out. GL
