d15b8 questions
im looking to take my b16 out of my del sol and replace it with a d15 to sell. i have a d15b8 from a cx that will work. however it only has 70hp and id like to make it closer to 100hp. (so that a potential buyer isnt overwhelmed with how slow the car is) my question is if anyone has a d15b7 head and intake manifold that i could put on this bottom end?
or do you think it would be cheaper to just find another engine...give me some ideas...

it would be easier to just find a d15b7 or d16z6. Swapping a d series head is only a possibility because in the CX about halfway through the batch honda switch from 3 valve reliefs per piston to 4. If you pull the head and find out you only have 3 valve reliefs then youre either gonna have to swap pistons or put the cx head back on cause a 16 valve motor with only 3 valve reliefs per piston is gonna have some piston to valve contact the very first time you turn the motor over.
its a del sol si. im not trying to rip anyone off...just want to sell the car with a sohc d15/d16 rather than the b16 i have it in now. i figure i can get 5k for the car with a sohc. its a 93 100k miles on it...clean...if anyone is interested let me know. came with rear disks has 16 inch enkei rs5s custom catback exhaust interior is clean...heres a pic
