Hi
I have two quick questions.

I was wondering if anyone has a b16a1 engine with adjustable cam gears on it and if so is there a general setting that can be applied to the gears without dyno tunning? I know setting the gears without dyno tunning the engine is not very accurate at all but I just got some AEM gears and I dont really have a place to dyno my car(I heard specR closed down). I just have the basics on my engine intake and catback on a b16a1.

My second question is will the DC 4-2-1 ceramic headers for the Del Sol dohc VTEC fit into a 1990 CRX Si with B16a1? Ive heard that the 4-2-1 headers for the 2000 Civic Sis fit better into a CRX b16a. Is there any custom fitting that I will have to do with the install of this header? (I have the 4-2-1 ceramic header for the Del Sol.) Also would I just goto HondaLand to get the gaskets for the header? Would I ask for gaskets for a Del Sol vtec?

I would greatly apprietiate any advice or comments given.

email: R_I_C_E@hotmail.com

Thanks.

Well generally +2 or +3 advance on the intake works best 0 or possibly -1 on the exhaust. Try setting your timing to 18 degrees. If you want to dyno it to be sure see my signature and private message me if you are interested

As for the headers itd be a custom deal any way you wanna go about it. Will likely have to cut the exhaust and definately have to do some rewiring of the 02 sensors. Good luck to ya.
