Hey guys
last week i had my major oil leak repaired...along eith that i got a tune up and my belts replaced cause my mechanic said that mine were old worn and cracked. Now all of a sudden this very cold morning i start my car and my car screams and screeches a very high pitched whsitling sound. i have heard other cars make this noise. it seems to only happen when i am stationary or moving at very slow speeds. anyone know what causes this an how i can fix it?

I believe this would be caused by a loose belt. Take it back to the installer and have them check it.

make sure that there is no oil on the belts or the pulleys. oil on the belt could cause squeeky noises and then make sure your belts are tighten to specs. dont use belt dressing.
