How the hell do you figure 370tq at the wheels with an LS?
My hatch was 2.0L and it was 398whp/294tq... it was a 2.0L LS Block with a GSR head.

Aren't you gonna have to change the RS ratio to make 400whp safely in a LS? Doing that will lower the TQ # since the stroke will be shorter. I don't think I've ever seen a 400/370 dyno on a Honda, ever..

If you have the dyno of those type of #'s, post it.

....correct me if im wrong but if you use an ls vtec and you sleave and run different pistons and rods and the vtec head what is the difference between that and a gsr block with the same stuff except for the fact that the ls block has to have an external line run which could make you starve your engine if something happened to it....

i say the only bennefit of the ls vtec is the high compression when you go by built standards the ls vtec just becomes nothing special the gsr would = it power wise and have less chance of problems

Ls r/s ratio is the difference

thanks for the replies. as far as the launch is concerned. im running a aem-ems. (launcch control) so i guess that would take care of alot. my only concern is my tranny. i dont do alot of trac racing and the simple answer of put big slicks on just doesnt cut it for me. if i roll around on 15's i know it would make it longer but is it long enough. i got a set of ctr cams and the head will be completely rebuilt with oem type r internals. as far as who ported my head, first was na200whp. he did an awsome job by the way. good quaility work. but i felt i needed more since i was going all motor so i sent my head out to port flow for a bit more extensive port to the intake and exaust side. nothing out of this world but noticable. i plan on using a sc61 turbo. mainly cause thats what all you fockers keep directing me to go with. what trim and all that other bs, i have no idea. all i know is i will be taking my sweet as time to make sure it gets done right the first time. but say it with me 2 litre ls-vtec turbo..... sounds nasty just saying it!

Good luck with that AEM traction control. It is a pita to setup. Do you already have the AEM? Whos gonna tune it? Ever think about Hondata? As far as the rev limit is concerned.....those cams and that turbo with a built vtec head will probably make power until 9000. So your rev limiter will probably be around 9200 or so. With that and some 225/50/15 drag radials....you will be able to rev out 4th gear to 135mph. That should be enough for the street with that setup. Run the LS 5th gear and we can race to 240mph
