me knowing nothing about turbos would not the vtec oil be better meaning with boost things are semi hotter and moving alot fast would not say being in vtec help keep the motor safer from friction problems

The only difference between the motors would be the oil squirters in the block, but he is running an LS block, so that is irrelevant.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.

Nice, but no. He is not running a straight vtec motor. He has the same r/s as the LS, with a better flowing vtec head and a higher reving motor. 400 to 400....probably about 18-20psi with the LS boost and 14-16psi with the ls-vtec. This is a stupid debate. Go with the ls/vtec setup. It will make more power, rev higher and be a better choice in your car CJ.

ith an lsvtec setup if you base your numbers off of torque alone, you will make significantly more power then straight ls. so you make 300wheel torque in each setup you will make like 350 in the ls but be near if not over 400+ in the ls/vtec. your motor will make more whp with the same stress on the cylinder walls as the straight ls making less whp. correct me if im wrong but im pretty sure this is how it works.
