Except alot of the cars from as early as 98 and e-85 compatable. That being said i'm sure you wouldn't need to change out anything.

For us older car owners they say you can get away with running it by adding a bit of marvel oil as it helps to lubricate the rubber lines and seals.

I've never heard the needing different head and intake gaskets even from the guys racing on straight alcohol.

E85 is the future.
Will release us from reliance on foreign fuels.
We can produce and sell it here, infinitely strenthening our failing economy.

it'll be a long time though before e85 is the normal everyday fuel.

Can't wait 'til it is, though.
And I forsee the LSX engine's to be GM's future E85 monster.

But thats a ways from now.
It's cheap to produce and theoretically infinite.

Our economy will NEVER be what it once was though. That or it will take centuries to be where we were at our pinnacle.

I'm kinda feeling the same way. I think the fatcats will need to start rethinking their pay structure someday soon. GM and the like can't keep paying multi-million dollar salaries in a global market where the competition is rewarding a fraction of that amount to their chiefs. And that goes for all industries, not just auto manufacturers.

Yes, but that should not keep us from trying.
The ''it's bad enough, so why try?'' mentality is dangerous.
We have to start somewhere.

well it could be the same again if we nuked china...we stop fighting for oil...a lot of mid level, blue collar, jobs would come back stateside and oil prices would drop (huge part of our economy)...
oh and india too as we fight largely with them for oil too.

Or if we just stopped outsourcing all our work and became less dependant on foreign oil...
