holy smokesssssssss
I will 100% guarantee that you cannot order this amp, or an anything like it. Again, getting a big shiny 3 second burp distortion machine doesn't count, it's not even close to the same thing. You're also not listed as JL dealers, so how can you say you sell JL?
Crossfire makes nice stuff. I was a member of their DB Drag team back in like 1998 and I've always liked it. But what you are saying contradicts what Crossfire lists on their own website. The XS12(actually the whole XS line up to 18") is rated at 2000 RMS 5000 max. They use the exact same motor structure from the 12" to the 18". The XS-SPL woofers are rated at 2000 rms as well, with a 10,000 "tone burst" rating.
An RMS rating and a "tone burst" rating are totally different things, how can you call them the same? RMS means they're going to happily take that power all day....tone burst means tone burst.

Hell Luke everybody has one available that they can order. LOL
Actually Optimal RMS Power for The XS12D1/XS12D2 (Retail $800) is 3000 RMS and handles 5000 RMS for tone burst purposes (another words Competition Purposes), then the XS12D2SPL's (Retail $900) handle 10,000 RMS for tone burst purposes.
Here is a link to see what 9 of the Crossfire XS series 18" subs do. (Oh Yeah each one of them have 4 amps on it)

The equipment is physically in my store so I can physically touch it and play with it and I also talk to the tech at Crossfire personally about the equipment.
You on the other hand are seeing something in the literature that you have never seen other than on the website or at a show in someone elses vehicle that you have nothing to do with.
I never said we were a JL Dealer I said we sell JL Audio, there is a difference.
And anybody can buy anything in this industry if the product is truly available.
We are Crossfire Dealers and Image Dynamic Dealers with territory restriction contracts but we also understand that if another dealer wants it bad enough he can find it and buy it, but he will most likely pay more for it.

All I'm saying is keep the honesty in your sales pitch.....if it's rated at one thing it's dishonest to claim something else. We all know ratings in this industry aren't always real - there are lots of things that are way better than they are rated, and there are TONS of parts that are way, way more crappy than they are rated.
So you're saying here that you guys transship JL product into your shop?
You guys have been Crossfire dealers for about a year, maybe less?? I've been selling and using Crossfire stuff since CFA1000's were the most powerful things out there back in the 90's.....It's always been good stuff and the people at the company are great people. I know a little more about it than literature. For the SPL crowd it's a very solid option when choosing equipment.

How are u selling jl if ur not a dealer and i feel sorry for the people that would buy it from u cause they wouldnt get the warrenty since jl doesnt warrenty products not sold by there trained authorized dealers according to there website.
Luke, you are more than welcome to come to the shop and look at the paper work. Ive got 2 of them about a foot away from my desk. Do they list it on there web site, no . The 4000 rms is for approved SPL purposes only. On the other hand it will take the 2000 all day every day for the life of the warranty ( 3 years ) and never do any thermal or mechanical damage.
I never said I was a JL dealer I said I sell JL big difference.

And as far as warranties, say what you want. I had a TR member who purchased a used 1000/1 amp a while back on the cheap find out it was blown when we installed it. We sent it out for repairs he was expecting to pay for. JL returned it repaired (brand new motherboard) for FREE. They felt that even though it was out of warranty, it failed too early with no signs of abuse. Saved the customer $180 and even started the warranty all over again for another year! I have NEVER had another manufacturer we have dealt with step up like that. EVER!
That is definatly impressive for a warrranty kinda like one of our Distributors that takes care of us similarly with warranty work
We had a customer that had two Audiopipe 12" TXX series subs that were blown and had not even bought them from us we called for a recone kit and he said just send them back and he would replace them.
JL watches the internet like a hawk. Trust me on that one. They are well aware that we have been heavily involved even specifically on this forum for a long time. I have been called more than once by my rep over something that was "JL" affiliated-again-even specifically on this forum. Before they ever even visited our store they had researched our current online presense. They do not like unauthorized internet sales, sales below MAP pricing, or transshipping to unauthorized dealers.
And I can GUARANTEE Luke or any other ARC dealer would not sell you or me or any other unauthorized dealer an amp a penny below retail (unless his rep gives him specific permission). Arc, JL, Hertz/Audison, etc track serial numbers like hawks. They are absolutely dead set against transshippers and will risk lawsuits to shut down dealers who break the rules. As a matter of fact, a few of the unfortunates' are right over there in you guys' Clearwater neighborhood. You basically sign a contract with them that ties your nuts in a noose and you allow them to "chop em' off" should you break their rules.
It is an attempt at keeping the line as pure as possible.
