yes they are on that website but if u noticed at the top wen u say click a jl w7 it doesnt say internet authorized dealer click hifonics or diesel and it will say authorized dealer so just cause u can buy it cheaper and from another website doesnt mean u get the warrenty or anything just like if ur selling it as a non dealer. Im guessing u guys buy it from a dealer around the area then if theres a promblem u send it to them to worry bout and tell the customer that ull take care of it? haha same kind of situation as the internet

wow guys. how did it all end up like this? i was just letting you all know there was some good deals on some used jl products. just because its jl doesnt mean you have to buy it brand new. like mcor said, well i think he said i got kinda lost in this thread but jl's warrenty is like no other. so there should be no fear in buying used. not everyone can afford brand new.

not sure how this turned into an argument over the quality of jl. i think the people arguing this point over how they wouldnt purchase jl are prolly a bunch of cheap asses running some really cheap shit in thier car. just like armoni is for the higher class, so is JL. so please stop bitching at the price. you want the best you gotta pay for the best.

I really want to know especially for component speakers. I am thinking of replacing my component set and I am not gonna pay that much for jl component speakers. Ill pay for subs and amps but not speakers.

 

There really isn't too much better even for the price. The thing is you can't have your cake, ice cream and your brownies lol. I can name subs for days that will get much louder, but are still on the pricier side. I can also name subs for days that will sound much better, most of which are pretty pricey with the exception of one or two. The subs I can think of with similar performance to say a w7 are just a bit cheaper than a w7 but they don't really have the craftsmanship or technology of it. Bottom line is there aren't too many subs that can do best of both worlds as the W7 can. I think it's funny how everyone compares it to SPL subs with quadstack motors, 8 layer coils, and super stiff spiders. Like Luke said it is a whole different world. The only other sub I think that really combines the best of both worlds as good is the ID MAX, which is not a cheap sub at all. As for components... well I run JL components... for the price I paid I really can't be happier. But in all honestly for the MSRP price of the speakers, they do not really stand out compared to other speakers I have heard in the same price range.

 

For those that are complaining about JLs being expensive, let me ask you a question then.

What subs out there that can compare to the w7s in SQ with a better price??

I have 2 w6s, i was thinking to upgrade to a w7 later on but if there are subs out there with a better price, then thats something I am interested in knowing.
