Yeah I know Jayson. I'd get my ass handed to me. I just can't seem to take turn 17 any higher than 3rd gear.

Almost touching the wall? LOL I've seen Chuck's Viper and I have the feeling it has actually kissed the wall more than once. In all seriousness though I give Chuck kudos for actually racing his Viper.
Billy, Welome to my world.
It's a place where a 4 banger can never win and there's plenty of hatorade and insecurity going around. Also, regardless of the fact you bought the WRX and modded it because that's what you wanted, deep down inside you really want a Viper or Corvette.

I mean, isn't that what these cars were made for? Hell, I want to see some vettes go too! But if your scared, I mean, busy that day and every other day he goes, then say so. No hatorade here. Just curious of the end results. You know, when I come into some money...I will have a better idea on what car to purchase. Well, you know how? The road course has the best of most worlds of auto racing.

I dont think anyone is objecting to the fact that Chucks Vipers are fantastic vehicles.. were just saying they arent for everyone.. I've seen plenty of WRXs and STi's in Australia who run club sprints every weekend and have the suspension mods brakes etc etc to back it up. I've also seen plenty of daily driven Clubsport R8 / HSV GTS/GTO Holdens that would run rings around alot of cars here.. its apples to oranges.
What i have seen here though is several videos of WRXs with relatively minor mods running rings around porches on a track..hehe.. believe me.. the Sti's and WRXs with the right coilovers and a few other things can be real track monsters. Just because you havent seen it here.. or its not being done locally doesnt mean it doesn happen

I plan to take an old Imprezza L one day and outfit it with STi v6 under carrage to do just what chuck is doing. I figure a 2500 lb car with 400+ HP and brakes / suspension / tires to match should make for alot of track fun
