A real driver would have never put it in the fence Donnie.
I fear very few mullets through the twisties, but I'll be the first to admit that I don't have much for 'em in a straight line.

Damn this is going off topic. Sorry Billy.
And I would still argue that it's better to never come back holding a steering wheel.
So what do you say, Chuck? Care to let me lap your big bad Vipers? My Scoob obviously has nothing for you, but it might be fun to see if I do. I'm also a bit annoyed by Donnie's inference that I can't get up on the wheel.

to suggest circle track racing.. lol.i have plenty of pictures of my car covered in mud.. rooster tailing through the sand.. and of me competing in the Mastro Rally Cross at the European Rally School a couple of years back.. i think i actually won a trophy or something..
if there WAS local rallyX or something organised locally you could expect alot more WRX owners to be competing.. but like i said at the RallyX in stark ... i'm not driving at over 75% in a car i have to drive hoime and to work on monday. If i was to build a rally car with the right safety equipment then that'd be different.
i think your seriously under estimating what a properly driven WRX with some suspension work can do.. and i'm talking the old school WRXs.. not the newage ones.. thats why in Australian Touring car racing its either Porches EVO's or STis that win it... with the occasional RX7 thrown in..
I'd definately take a Viper if it was given to me. and sell it to someone who wants its, buy an Sti and ride on out
Sure thing WRX. Bring whatcha got and lets have fun. Sebring? Moroso? Homestead? Like I said, I've got Sebring Dec 13. Wanna make it interesting?

its much easier to drive at 100% (or 101%) when you dont have to drive said car to work on monday. Long as i have the safetey stuff (roll cage.. harness helmet.. suit.. etc etc) .. and dont gotta drive the car to work monday..i will happily push the limits.. and prolly leave the track occasionally in searching for that 100%.

That's why I do my 101% at an auto-x and not on a track. I'd far rather hit a cone in my daily driver then a concrete retaining wall. I'd love to have the time, money, etc. to be able to support a purpose built track car and the hobby.
