lmao...slash... first off... the interiors of the mk3 are ALL the same...aside from the steering wheel, the climate control, and the gauge cluster needles...aside from that they are basically EXACTLY the same...

as for finding a black interior...1) NO mk3 was ever made with a BLACK interior...the one you posted is shadow grey... its a dark grey that basically looks like black...

ALSO good fucking luck finding that hahaha....i think there were maybe 1k mk3s with that color interior...god knows how many are actually left let alone in good shape...

youre gonna have to do what ive been doing lately and change the interior color if you want black that bad... i had burgandy and im changed it to this:

Its either I find a mk3 with what I want in it, or I grab an mr2. We'll see, money isnt in good supply with me at the moment, so ive got time to sit back and watch the cars go by.

 

1-2k to change interior over? not even close...

lets see about 100 bucks for new vinyl and foam to recover inserts, dye/fusion paint and fabric/vinyl dye is like 100 bucks total... then odds and ends is like 100 bucks... and then your choice of seats...me ersonally im dropping 1k on some sparco torinos grey and black to match....

its not THAT bad...

 

I'd personally go with blue Corbeau CR-1's because they are cheap and look cool. If not, just some uber comfortable stock cloth seats.

 

and by the way orion...ive taken out about everything in my interior aside from the front seats and the dash...and ALL of it combined weighs MAYBE 70lbs.... and my car looks like ass.... so if you do get a mk3...just leave it be...no need to take anything out.. for "weight savings"

 

Thanks for the help ideal.. I figured I'd rather guess high than guess low. So for like 500 I could convert over to the interior / steering wheel / seats I want? Wonder if I could get some Mr2 turbo leather seats wedged in there...

 

yeah basically... 89+ steering wheel can be had for around 50 bucks or so...climate controls about the same 50 bucks... and color change i would say about 200 plus another 150 for carpet and then whatever you want to do with the seats situation...

and by the way...lmao at your editing work in the other two threads....sorry to make you work so hard
