What has your insurance say as of this point?

I did do a little bit of wiring work, but most of that entailed just making the intake manifold easier to R&I, rewired/relocated a cooling fan plug that had melted due to the headers (using heat shrink tubing and a real connector, etc), and some gauge wiring. The oil cooler lines are still intact at their closest proximity to the headers and were wrapped in fire sheilding as well.

There's nothing worse than getting a call from a customer on their way home with the statement "Mike, my car is on fire!" Although I'm confident in my work and take extra precausion against fire and other catastrophies, I was definitely shitting bricks until the car showed up and it was apparent I wasn't going to be buying LD a new everything...

only thing that was worked on recently was the headers. but all mike did was pull them off and spread them apart so they fit correctly, then right back on. headers are ceramic coated and heat wrapped... and they aren't really near any wires anyways.

I wonder if it could it have been that loud-ass exhuast leak blowing out onto a hose containing flammable liquid? Update?
