RacerX: What do you mean contact SOA! DUDE LD's car is so modified, are you fucking serious. Dont try and tell ppl to contact SOA and put the blame on them. LD needs to find out what caused the problem before he goes and gets an attorney. COME ONE man you cant be serious!
I (obviously) agree completely that the cause of the fire needs to be determined before any steps are taken legally. And I haven't jumped to any conclusions (indicated by my choice of words -- see "might" in aforementioned post).
A prudent person would consider involving an attorney immediately (one with lots of insurance experience, might I add).
I think you would have to be a moron to contact SOA right now, so don't put words in my mouth.

well obviously the drivetrain isnt under warranty but as far as wiring nothing has been touched. i think the only wiring the has been changed was for the different headunit I have, and Chris used a subaru specific harness for it.

the shitty thing is you really dont know what cause the fire. and so the insurance company could really try to dick you over by placing the blame on SOA causing it to be tied up in court.
