maybe hes new to cars and was told by someone to do that? who knows? but calling him a moron and making comments like i bet you put your car in N at lights so you can roll back is being a douche.... he could have just said well thast not good for your car blah blah blah instead of making fun of him then saying hes gonna race him and look at him in the mirror

edit: also you know how a salesman is a dealership they probably told him it was made for that

but the automatic is so boring i feel obligated to put my right hand to use and shift..but yeah you'll watch your doors go flying off in your rearview mirror!!

you want to put the pink slip on it!! your car my be faster than mine..but as i racer i'm probably way out of your league. and not just straight line drags because all that measure is quickness...a course defines a real racer!

He called me out on a race so dont act like I said hey kid i'm better than you because I have a WRX, and he must not be new to driving because his mad skillzzzzz are way out of all our leagues..

difference between a 2.5i and WRX TR is probably 5 grand.. over 5 years, and a reasonable interest rate you are only looking at about 100 more a month... if thats the breaking point in your life then maybe you shouldnt have a car payment in the first place.

if you read my first post all i asked was how you switch the gauges just to get the look of a wrx thats all but then you wanted to get all smart and question me in a rude way...if you want to question somebody start your own post or do a survey on the street dont come jawing at me because i asked a simply question looking for a simple answer...see thats wats wrong with most of the sti owners the feel like they run shit and make other drivers feel inferior..then some are cool and HELPFUL as if we belong to a whole subaru family...and if you thought wat you said made you feel gravy inside and made me feel bad thing again

moving your tach so you feel like you have a wrx is just rice if you ask me... that should be the last thing on your to do list if you are converting to a wrx... and to answer your original question about modding your current one instead of buying a new one... sure, go for it, its obviously possible to do because its its how its made in the wrx... frankly if you keep asking stupid questions you deserve stupid answers.

Try this method: attempt to do it... say you have done xyz and then you can say it worked perfectly check it it out blah blah... or say i have done xyz 'anybody else try this because after trying it didnt work for me'... you will get better results
