Me too! That's why when I installed UTEC and my CEL lit up I was like WTF. But after calling TXS they told me that you can only turn off the CELL light completely and you cannot adjust the CEL parameters or thresholds for certain CELS.

You can disabled specifc fault codes with an reflashed ECU. If I'm not mistaken this is done by adjusting the thresholds for specific fault codes.

Yes, I agree! However I don't have a reflash, I have a piggyback system (UTEC) in which that option is non existent.

Is what Mastro sells the resistor & wire or the mechanical one like GP Moto or the aforementioned ones requiring modification via drill press?

eBay Auction LINK
I know its not local, but it does arrive rather quickly. I know, because I just put mine on when I finally mated my Helix catback to my Helix DP [I LOVE IT BTW!!!!!!!!!!]

The eBay seller is 'ScoobieFast' and s/he is a stand-up guy/gal. I accidentally 'bid' on the item instead of clicking 'BIN' and they cancelled the sale for me and just sent me a PayPal request. BAM- I had the package in less than a week.

Also, for the $17.99 price, you get DP CEL fix, UP CEL fix, anti-seize, UP bung-plug [chuckle] and detailed instuctions.

Did I mention FREE shipping?!

$18 is a pretty damn good deal, and I personally like the mechanical deal over the electrical = its less permanent. A similar one made by GP Moto is $30 alone on www.oakosautomotive.com and that is ONLY the DP CEL fix.
