Okay.. so my wife's del Sol was running fine. She took it to Tires Plus on BBD for an oil change. After the oil change, the mechanic told her she needed this and that... you know the usual BS to get a girl to get work done that she doesn't need. In any case, about a day after getting that done, she's driving to work, and her CEL come on. I've tried to pull a code on it, but it's not working. I read that it's the same as pulling the code on my Integra (which I've done), but it's not throwing a code. The only other weird thing is that the CEL doesn't come on until she starts the car. When I had a CEL on my Integra, it was on as soon as the ignition was turned to position II (On). Maybe they forgot to add some fluid or something... any ideas?

 

For any of those curious minds out there, it was a bad O2 Sensor. $70 from Autozone, and should be fixed tomorrow.

 

I guess that's what they did.
