you owned a piece of shit and because of that you hate domestics? how stupid, I have no problem with imports, even though I have owned crappy imports, I wasnt talking about buying a domestic anyway, I was talking about taking the turbo from it....its not like just because its on a "evil" domestic its junk, after all garrett uses the same turbo on bothe the mustang SVO and a SAAB(pretty sure those are both the same) how many cars have you owned anyway? You will find that in a lot of cars there is one or two rock solid pieces(IE a ford 9" rear end, a chevy TH400 tranny,A 1st gen eclipse BOV, etc.)these are all parts that are made very well, no matter where they were made.....big news flash for you, just because its made in Japan doesnt make it a reliable car, in fact I know a guy still driving his old 69 ford f100 with 400,000+ miles on it and never a rebuild, dont talk shit about domestics being unreliable, or imports being perfect, in my experience I have actually had more problems with imports, but I dont blame that on manufacturer, I blame that on the people who owned the car before me, I assume user error before manufacturer defect
there's a guy a secret service who has a 2nd gen teg, with a t3 running almost 400hp, most of the K cars run a T25 turbo, where as the ford turbo coupe t-bird has a T3, just to help u find a turbo, and there are plenty around, you can get a decent T3 for under $100

yeah, most of the automatics are t-25s, still good for about 250hp, the manuals some of them have t3s, as do turbo t-birds(5 speed), merkur XR4TIs(5 speed)(have one myself, love that car) and SVO mustangs(5 speed), on the foreign side you have Saabs which have t3s as well, various others I cant think of right now, you might be able to stretch a t3 to 320HP, 400 is possible...but seriously overworked
