Im no motorhead but I do know that ls/vtecs are good for turbo applications. That is of course if you have the right compression ratio. Which can be changed by swapping out pistons and changing head gaskets if Im not mistaken. Im sure someone will correct me if im wrong.

My room mate just bought a 91 integra ls and wants to put a vtec head on it. But later wants to maybe put a turbo on it too.

If he wants to go turbo use the money that was going to be for a head and buy internals for the ls motor.
