Take a multimeter, or even a test light if you have to, turn the ignition on, see if you've got power on the injector wires, one of the two for each will be hot at this point.

 

will do later tonight i believe its supposed to be around 12v or something.

same with this one.. but how could the ect affect injector firing? isn't the ect the coolant temp sensor? say whaaat?

-ecu( even though i swapped one)
- cas?
- broken injector plug( see first page pictures)

 

thank you to fidel cashflo and friend for hooking me up with an ecu this morning.

unfortunatley that did not solve the problem.....\

plugged in a noid light and nothing..

so my harness is bad.

roll over to my friends and he has a spare dohc 5spd taylor durdan KA harness sitting in his garage... scoop it up for 3o bucks.

my only problem is tracing the bad wires etc?
and splicing it into my current harness. any tips or help would be greatly appreciated and if anyone wants to take on this task and can do so efficently let me know i have cash and willl pay.....i need my car running bad for school.

oh and the car now has a new dizzy and cas. $$$$ throwing money

 

my next step would be to shared_pm martin and see when he can look at it. he finds everything so fast it makes you feel really dumb.

 

why would u splice? id just rip out and replace

 

+1, might as well just take the old one out, put the new one in.

 

The durdan harness is cut from the part that goes behind the dash? the upper harness part.

its a full engine bay harness with all plugs and even goes all the way to the ecu plug but some split section in which i guess goes up behind my dash( im guessing for some dumb) is cut? idk

i have very little time and patience for this shit.

i need the two mated. my complete harness to the durdan . or atleast whatevers bad on mine taken from the durdan and replaced.
