I'm probably over analyzing this...
well, like stated, if the red power wire isnt getting power, and it's only a foot away from the fuse box, trace it back to its fuse and check it! sure enough, that fuse was broken. not burned, mind you, but corrosion made it give up the ghost and it had actually broken inside. (its the large brown fuse with the clear top for "Eng Cont")
i swapped over the fuse for "RET MTR" next to it and low and behold! so then i go to start it, and the ECU light wont go out. hmmm... CAS isnt reading. go to look at the distributor and it's an autoparts store model. complete junk. swap in his original and it fires right up.
just so you all know, injectors should have power at all times, even with the key out. the power comes directly from the battery, into the fuse box and out to your F9/F10 plugs (the large grey plug behind the headlight that attaches to the engine harness) and also to your EGI relay (this relay powers your MAFS and CAS). from there, it goes to the injectors and also to the ecu for backup (read: constant) power.

thank you taylor.
just as the thread is titled.... i literally did over analyze it.
i think over i had a combo of problems and when it came down to this last one, it was something so small and dumb in the midst of frustration we tend to overlook the simple things and jump to the large costly problems.
i willing will admit i feel like an idiot after having taylor point out the broken fuse, but im greatful to have a professional non time consuming help, rather than misleading information.
.....
on the way home i was actually surprise how much midrange(after 4k) tourque i had lost over the years. it was like driving a new car again

thank you again to everyone whom helped and contributed and to taylor and the guys at S&R Performance for being cool as shit.

haha no biggie. sometimes you just gotta sick back, relax, and go at it methodically and logically. that's hard to do when youre flustered and frustrated.
