i also before doing the injector swap, checked a few grounds and scraped any freaking sign of paint just in case.

 

i spoke with someone i know and he said that in the very rare instance that i could have an air block happening inside the rain, because when i took out the injector i freed the air and when putting it back in the air is trapped in the rail in between the fpr and the feed line,

* my feed line is swollen between the fuel rail entry and the fuel filter.

he said the swelling could be air or fuel blocked by air.

my question is..

wouldn't all the air just escape when i cycle the motor by cranking?

the air would just exit via the return line or something right? but if its not escaping that means its blocked in via the FPR?????

so the fpr is stuck or clogged or not working?

i dunno maaannnnnn, im borrowing a mityvac hand pumping vaccum gauge made for testing and or simulating the vacum of the motor on the fpr .
ill be testing it out tonight, i have no idea what it will show me or what its supposed to show but whatever.. im getting desperate.

i did not say check for codes on the ecu, i said your ecu could be done. try plugging a different ecu in . . assuming its not modded

 

its a stock ecu, o.k ill post a thread to borrow one.

 

^ stock ECUs go bad too ya know...

My old car was acting like shit a while back, was stuck in limp mode. We thought it was MAF related, but it wasn't. Even thought the code was MAF related Epstein said that the MAF wiring or MAF drivers could have been bad. Joe (asia989) gave me one of his ECUs and the problem was solved right away.

 

mmmk. im searching but so far ecu's on ebay seem like the only option. risssssky, but i might just.

 

and the irony is i have 2 sohc ecu's and a auto trans dohc one sitting at my house lol.

and 2 sohc maf's.
and a spare intake mani with fpr, rails etc. but no fucking injector plugs!

 

im going to remove the fuel rail tomorrow and check for leaky inj. just in case.
check my fpr and or swap it out,
and keep my fingers crossed.

if not, thennnn ill buy an ebay ecu

 

just ask on TR to borrow someone's spare (the auto ECU will work too btw)
