ok, im still a little confused...but I have a s13 blacktop, and sohc chasis. so my best bet would be custom lines so I dont have to rip out the dash and swap out everything, correct? (unless I find a uncracked blue dash soon, then I wont care cuz I have to take it off anyways)
If that sounds like it would work, what compressor would I need? Sorry if I sound lost, I'm just tryin to do it my self instead of payin a local shop $600+

Imo, finding a blacktop compressor will not be easy. I'd just find a redtop bracket and a dohc junkyard car to pull the lines/condensor/compressor/etc.

Yeah, except that I'm selling one right now. The late-model one, too.

If you have a blacktop bracket and a blacktop compressor with some cut line ends, then you just have to have the high and low sides welded toether... The only pain in the ass is the high side.. the lines almost always get stuck (the fitting in front of the condensor / upper right)

2 lines will cost anywhere from $100-$200 depending on who does it.
