picked up my rim from glenn's wheel polishing today. It was so badly curbed that one side looked completely flat and it didn't hold air. Tomorrow I'm buying tires, maybe 205/50/15 or 205/55/15 all around still trying to decide. after that I might be polishing them or painting the center's.



This is where it was curbed. they welded more aluminum onto it and made it look brand new. I can't believe how good it came out.

 

got some oil and a new turbo gasket.
hicas rack and some other stuff soon.

 

i started my car for the first time since october 1st.

loose ends to tie up consist of:

-put hood on
-redo red lip on wheels
-fix 1 wire in the cluster, it's not illuminating...and i know it was the damn red/blue wire and not red/yellow grrr

-one corner light comes on and one front side marker comes on. lol not sure there, but thats easy splice and fix.

-both high beams come on with low beams and only one low beam comes on. that's not a big deal, i guess i crossed the wires on each side oops.

-horn doesn't work. but i don't have the airbag harness in. whatever. don't care. someone can put in aftermarket horn with a relay if they want.

it's so minty fresh and clean!

oh need to adjust clutch pedal. driving a stock fwd 6 speed for a few months spoils me i didn't realize how stiff and manly the RPS clutch is

then it will get a full wash and wax and gonna clean it up the best i can...

kids, tell your friends $8500 gets you my hooptie. daddy needs money, the fwd is begging for mods!
