What hose clamps do you guys use? Not for couplers, but coolant lines and shit.
I'm going through all of the intake manifold hoses and shit, replacing it with new stuff and decent clamps. I know the ideal shit from advance break, and I don't know of any others.
Once this motor goes in, I don't ever want to touch it again.

i cant find any pics, but if you can use those, i would. they dont cut into the hose like some clamps. but overall, its just clamps, anything will be fine.

What about those spring clamps, that are used on most cars. Anyone ever see leaks with them?

I had one of those on the lower rad hose on the black car. It came loose twice. Then the third time it completely broke in two pieces. I'm not sure how that happened. I replaced it with one of those that's a flat wide metal band, and one screw that tightens it. No problems with it yet.

Anyway, I finished pulling the Q45 brakes. Kind of slightly pending sale, but nothing is final until they've been picked up. Current offer is $175 just in case anyone is interested?

Not sure how you can fuck up installing those clamps. There aren't even any variables that a total retard could mess up.
