I dont have an SR alternator to begin with. If its as simple as I think, it should take 10 minutes to make the bracket. Like I said, if it doesnt work I'll just use the one off the KA. But I got the motor on the stand so it doesnt get any easier than right now.

Like I said, let me know how much it takes. Id love to run one, just because. And if its pretty simple that makes it that much easier of a decision.

What I find funny is that people do so much work to upgrade the alternator, but I never hear any mention of upgrading the alternator fuse. 110A rated output isn't going to do you any good behind a 75A fuse.

Sure it does. The whole current vs. RPM curve gets shifted, so at cruising RPMs, you make closer to 75A than 40A.
