okay. finally have a post this forum will appreciate.
today.....

i washed my engine bay.
shit was crazy.
let me tell you all about it.
okay.
first, i had some asian dudes help me push it into detail, because, it currently has no drivetrain.
(drivetrain is a fancy industry term for "engine and transmission assembly")
then, holy shit this was cool.
i sprayed some brown shit that smelled like oven cleaner all over everything, let it sit for a second while i figured out how to use the hose thingie
then, i hosed it off with the pressure sprayer guy.
OH MY GOD IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING.
grease and dirt and stuff and junk just came right off, and went down this drain? thing. it was like magic.
then, i stood back, and marveled at my accomplishment, and noticed that it looked exactly the same.
then, i had the previously mentioned asian dudes, plus one more asian, because it was uphill this time, push it back to a parking space.
i think im just going to spray paint over the spots that are still dirty. ill let you know on that later.

oh, and i ordered a new downpipe, some gaskets, and replaced 3 tires and front brakes on my bmw, but i dont want to bore you car washers with that stuff.

Didn't wash it. Instead, I pulled the IACV on the black car and started cleaning it out... I'm too lazy to finish. =/

Got the correct ECU water temp sensor today and put that on during lunch. One less thing on the list.

It's going on a removable, magnetic based mount that appears factory OEM when the gauges are away.

The final position will be 4 inches lower snugged up to the cluster.

Anyone have good tips for nighttime interior shots?

Fucking awesome craftsmanship, but i hate where they are positioned!

And yes, good lighting, the right lens, and shoot from the back of the car inside.

I'd probably crash trying to monitor those things... Nice work on the pod, but too much going on imo. What do you have in your car that you need all those gauges..?
