Hey, that's what I'm doing. There's a huge rattle somewhere in there that I can't get to by pulling all the center stuffs.

 

haha. Pulling the dash isn't fun. I've done it once before. =/ It's lightly sprinkling and cold, so I'm just going to get inside and close the door, then hope there's no rain when it's time for it to come out. But I was messing with the ignition toggle switch, and the power comes on for a split second when I slowly move the switch. So I'm going to pill out another switch I have and see if that works.

 

ive got some sweet felt tape and fabric pieces from bmw "dash rattle" kits if you need anything.

put my ma motorsports pilot BEARING in last night, and exedy stage 2, hopefully today i can pressure wash my engine bay and replace some hoses.
kinda thinking about painting the bay, but ehhh, probably not.

need to shop around for gaskets and stuff when i get home and figure out what else im going to do to this thing while its apart.

 

Dash is out on the black car. I'm gonna take a break, then I'm going to finally sort out the ghetto wiring.

 

I now need help. I pulled the dash, and it turned out it was just the switch that was bad. I followed the wires, and they go to a big connector, and I remember seeing it on my car. But I don't remember what it's supposed to go to. =/

What is this connector supposed to go to?

 

I need to do this, but I am entirely too lazy. Well that and my dash and all ac vents are uncracked, don't want to crack one. I remedy it, by turning the music up a couple more turns.

Hopefully one of these days my sr will be done, then I will start buttoning up the rest of st00fs.

 

Ug. decided against pulling the dash. crawled in the footwell and found some suspect things. I'll drive it later and see if that fixed it.

Fixed my Gizzmo boost controller. They pinned my harness our incorrectly. No biggie, I guess. We got some awesome back-lit tact switch samples from Shanpu (hahaha) at work that we're not going to use. I need to print out a turbo symbol on clear to put in it. It'll be for scramble boost / push-to-pass.

 

Does anyone know of an online wiring book?
