if i can find a good condition s30 for cheap i would look into getting one...but they are kinda pricey in j-land...
or i could just buy a kei car and say fuck it lol

If anyone has a spare/junk ka/sr trans laying around let me know. I need 2 small things off of it and would rather not buy them new from nissan.
On-topic: Got a new driver seat and a 'new' shifter. In 84 they used a different design. It also seems to have a much shorter throw. I'm sure some of that is because the lower bushing is not in two pieces like my old one. ^_^

OK, well this overall car build is more fun than my last one. A billion whp in a no-grip S13 just does burnouts. A reduced output in a grippy S14 that I can actually drive... that's a lot more fun. The car is more balanced now. The 52-trim does seem to pressurize at a lower RPM if you're going WOT from 3k, but the TS has faster transient above the full boost RPM.

I used VHT paint, though if it fucks up I'll get a spare one and coat it. I'll probably have the actual pipes coated.
I plan on making a similar video of the rear suspension during the next deals gap trip. The go-pro cameras are awesome, though I havent gotten to use mine much. There is a second company that makes a bullet style camera with the similar features but its easier to use and cheaper. I might check those out later on.

The HD Go-Pro wide angle is so full of win. Just don't leave the batteries in them when they sit around. AAA battery leakage will not, contrary to popular belief, buff out. Arrgh.
