On my KA thats the cylinder which spun the bearing, and my SR was the same way, which is why I had to polish the crank and get a new rod. The cylinder was fine but bearing was toast.
It seems cylinder 2 gets the least amount of oil or has more stress or something.

one of the things i have learned is if it is not broken don't mess with it lol..but then again you have a spare car and money lol
and kevin check out the crank for cly 2, paper thin is not so good
Finished stripping down my sr... Crank journal for rod # 2 is toast but all the others look good. Main and rod bearings are all badly worn. Cylinders look good, no ridges. I just need to check the bore and deck surface to make sure everything is straight and within spec, then it's off to the machine shop.

No, it's just weird that everyone has problems on the #2 cyl. ^haha I'm pretty sure it had cheap oil and my brother was pretty good at getting it to redline even with an autotragic trans.
