That's pretty expensive. I'm not sure I would be able to afford that. He might need to bring the price down a little.

Thanks man! And yeah, that guy has so much OEM kouki stuff it makes me sick... I'm so jealous

Oh, and I got my S13 started and ran it up to operating temperature last night. It sounds so good! I also got my gauge backlighting working (just hard wired the illumination wire, so there must be a break in my harness somewhere...) and got my dashboard re-installed. Still need to figure out the digital climate control thing, but I'm pretty sure I have a bad fan speed switch. Off to find a Q45 with digital climate controls in a junkyard this weekend.

And I'm going to Amazon Hose at lunch to make a stainless clutch line. So hopefully I can take it for a spin tonight if they can make the line today...

DCC's don't have fan speed switches. It's a fan amp.

Speaking of which, I rekerjiggered my air mix door motor assembly yesterday. It looks like it never worked right, ever. There's a lever in there that works the air mix linkage and the heater cock (FSM rated PG-13!). It knows the position based on a potentiometer with a gear on it. I guess it was off a few teeth, so it never moved the whole way. I opened it up, set the pot to 3k (+ to signal), set the lever in the right position and stuck it back together. Worked like a charm! The only issue is that the heater cock cable seems to have formed to the shape of the casing in the heat-on position. Probably because it never moved from there in years. So, moving it back to the heat-off position is difficult. I'll probably just get another cable.

"Blower motor speed controller" Whatever you want to call it...

I'm supposed to have the one on the right with the ridges, I have the one on the left with the holes.

According to this write-up.

How-to: S13 JDM Digital Climate Control - Zilvia.net Forums | Nissan 240SX (Silvia) and Z (Fairlady) Car Forum

And my clip didn't come with that thermo control amp, or any plug for it either... weird.

I still need to cut an aspirator hole for mine. I've got the dealie and the tube, but the S14's don't have the convenient cutout. The sensor is just ziptied under the dash.
