And I'll look more into those soon. Not sure I want delrin but we'll see.

I know, we've used it over the years on misc things for the boats. It just wears out alot faster.

I either have to design them to wear out and be easily replaced (i.e delrin) or built to last and be a total bitch to replace (i.e QA-1)

I'm still leaning towards the QA-1 bearings.

Being that you can adjust the delrin spheres, and with the chrome plated ball, I doubt you'll have to replace them very often, and the delrin cups are only $4 a pair if you do actually end up wearing some out.

Do you think I could find a place that would be able to chuck that housing they come with up in a lathe and turn them down to 5/8" thread for the spl rear arms ? I checked with them and they said they dont have plans to offer a 5/8" any time soon

I dont know of any machine shops off hand but I'm sure there is some place local that would be able to do it.

The other thing with the delrin cups is they require greasing, and the less maintaince I have to do the better because I'm really lazy with that type of stuff. (I know, I know they have zerk fittings)

Oh and as far as my wheels, they are +15 effective.. I have a 5mm slip on, or they don't even clear the coil (because I removed all collars but 1.) But like I said, they fit and Ill make them fit better sooner or later.

i have no problems with a 9" +22 and a 235 tire.
but jics apparently have alot of clearance/ small diameter spring.
